A tax season (prepare and e-file returns for the previous calendar or tax year) is from January 1 until October 15 of any current year. For example, you have until April 15, 2024 to claim a 2020 Tax Refund, April 15, 2023 to claim 2019 Tax Refund, for 2018 until April 15, 2022, and 2017 until April 15, 2021.
