Some don’t even have SWIFT codes of their own (many, in fact) and use intermediaries to receive money. Most of the credit unions and small banks in USA do not have the connectivity to swift network and thus does not have a Swift Code, IBAN or other international routing codes.
Can money be sent without swift code?
