How can Gradescope detect cheating?

After using Gradescope for a year, I realized that it could be used to detect cheating. Gradescope allows you to see submissions to specific questions in sequence, making it easy to spot submissions that are identical, a red-flag for copied answers. While not a feature, it is an undocumented bonus.
Can Gradescope see if you leave the page?
Can Gradescope detect other tabs Reddit? It is not possible for any website to see what other tabs you have open unless you have downloaded some kind of tracking software like Proctorio.

Why won’t Google Classroom let me post an assignment?
If students have NOT begun: You will need to also delete the assignment on CommonLit for all classes, reassign it on CommonLit, and then repost it to Google Classroom. If students have begun: Email [email protected] and ask us to unlink the assignment from Google Classroom so you can share it to Google again.
How do I schedule an assignment in Google Classroom?
When the assignment tool pops up to schedule to the classroom, click the down arrow next to “assign” and select “schedule” then set your desired date and time. Repeat for each classroom you wish to post the assignment in.

Can Moodle See If You Leave The Exam? Yes it can and this is needed to know how long you took on the exam as well as to stop the exam if you get disconnected for any reason so you can complete the exam later. This can be done with a bit of code on the page or as a web page session timeout.
