Why did I not receive my stimulus check?

While some have already received a payment, many have not. This is likely because the IRS is processing millions of payments. A task that size takes time. I have no idea what the criteria is for making the payments (time-wise).

How much money do you have to make to get a stimulus check?

To receive a stimulus check you must meet certain yearly income thresholds, among other things. Individuals who make up to $75,000, heads of household who make up to $112,500, and married couples who make up to $150,000 per year qualify for the entire stimulus check amount, which is $1,200 per person.

When do I get my second stimulus check?

If you qualify for a plus-up payment, you will receive an extra check as part of the weekly rounds of stimulus payments that the IRS has been making every Wednesday. The Recovery Rebate Credit, as explained in an IRS news release April 5, is a tax credit related to the first ($1,200) and second ($600) stimulus checks.

For most of the recipients, payments will be deposited directly into the same bank account that they have most recently used to receive a tax refund or monthly Social Security payment. Others will receive paper checks in the mail, at the address that the IRS has on file for that individual.

Are there any stimulus checks still going out?

Many people have received theirs already, but some payments are still going out. So you might want to know the timeline or stimulus check date, and how to use a third stimulus check calculator to find your stimulus check amount, since the income limits have changed compared to previous checks.
