Should I follow my dreams or be realistic?

Following your dreams does not mean you’re not realistic. Being realistic means you’re aware of what inputs (efforts) are required to attain certain outputs (results). Even if your dream is big, as long as you’re aware and willing of what’s required to attain them, that is still being realistic.
Is following your dreams worth it?
You can be an inspiration to others. If you decide to go and pursue your dreams, you will give hope to others who want to do the same. You can serve as their example and their reason why they should give it a try. You can help them, coach them, and encourage them to keep going.
Should I dropout of college to pursue my dream?
If you are great at what you are pursuing, then dropping out is not that bad an idea, especially if you have just begun college. If you are more than half way through college, then you are better off pursuing your dreams on the side and get college work done.
Should I chase my dream job?
Chasing your dream career can give contentment not only to yourself but also to others. If you have your own business which you are happy with, your employees in turn will feel that happiness. You will radiate positivity and this will rub off on your employees. It’s the same concept with your loved ones.
How do I follow my dream?
Here’s a six-step plan to fulfilling your dream:
- Catch a clear vision for where you want to go.
- Find people who are doing what you want to do and talk to them.
- Figure out the steps it’s going to take to get there.
- Set large and small goals and track your progress to keep you motivated.

So actually, it’s far from selfish to pursue your dreams. You following your dreams actually helps all of us. It enhances the lives of those around you, and it makes a positive impact on our entire world.

- DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY (EVEN IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOUR CAREER YET)
Why is it important to follow your dreams?
They make life worth living. Your dreams are what can get you through even the worst days. If you are struggling, your dreams are your reason to keep going. They are why you wake up in the morning and try again. They are what makes your entire life worth living. Without our dreams, we are nothing.
What happens when you fail in your dreams?
Even if your dreams fail, you’ll feel proud you gave it your all to accomplish them. Dreamers fail now and then, but they also learn more in life. You learn from failure. So, dust yourself off and try it again. 19. It’s your life, live it under yourterms! It is up to you to live your dreams.

Leave it to Norbert to come up with such a great list. You got it right, “ignore everybody and follow your dreams” is probably one of the best advice someone can give another. Without dreams, its possible to forget how alive we are and we end up just existing, instead of really living.
