Your bio-metric data will be taken for storage on your NEXUS pass; you will be fingerprinted and photographed using a low quality web cam. If you want to use your NEXUS pass for air travel you must have an iris scan, but only a limited amount of NEXUS interview locations have the iris scanning facility.
What do I need to bring to my NEXUS interview?
If you listed a document on the NEXUS membership application, you must bring your original to the interview.

Is NEXUS conducting interviews?
Finally, NEXUS and FAST enrollment centres remain temporarily closed and enrollment interviews are not being conducted at this time. The enrollment centres will remain closed until the travel restrictions at the Canada-United States border are lifted.
How long does it take to get NEXUS after interview?
You should normally receive your NEXUS Card within 10 calendar days of the approval of your application, which usually occurs the same day as or the next business day after your interview. If you do not receive your card within 3 weeks, you should contact the enrolment centre you attended for your interview.
How do I schedule a virtual NEXUS interview?
Login to the TTP website and from the Dashboard click on the “Schedule Interview” button. After selecting the Enrollment Center for the program you applied to (Global Entry, SENTRI, NEXUS), you will be able to select the date and time of the interview from a list of available interview time slots.
Does NEXUS include PreCheck?
No. To receive TSA PreCheck®, you must include your Known Traveler Number (your CBP PASSID for Global Entry, NEXUS, or SENTRI members) in the appropriate field of your airline reservation, and the TSA PreCheck® indicator must be displayed on the boarding pass to access the lanes.
