  3. Click on I’ll choose what I work on (if shown)
  4. Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
  5. On Other Income Taxes, click on the start or update button.

What does it mean when Turbotax says you have an overpayment?

An Overpayment means that you overpaid state tax and will be receiving a refund. Please note, when you arrive at the question that asks if you want to apply your Overpayment to next year’s taxes, you will select the the option that says you do not want to apply the refund.
