A human relation is the relationship between human resources of the organization. It incorporates management-employees, employees-employees relationship. It also consists of relationship between the organization’s human resource & outsiders (such as clients, suppliers).
What called Human Relations?
1 : a study of human problems arising from organizational and interpersonal relations (as in industry) 2 : a course, study, or program designed to develop better interpersonal and intergroup adjustments.
What are human relations skills?
Human relations skills are the interpersonal skills managers use to accomplish goals through the use of human resources. This set of skills includes the ability to understand human behavior, to communicate effectively with others, and to motivate individuals to accomplish their objectives.
How are human relations and Human Resource approaches different?
The human relations approach is mainly based in the interpersonal and social needs of the individual worker. This view point was dramatically different from those which preceded it. The human relations approach paved the way for the human resource approach which I feel our textbook portrays best as a movement rather than an approach.
