Responsible people honor their commitments – to others and to themselves. They succeed in school by doing their assignments well and on time. They do their share of the group project. They go to soccer practice even when it’s cold. Parents can teach about commitments by example.

- Bring difficult students close to you. And that is meant quite literally.

- Be the role model of the behavior you want.
- Define right from wrong.
- Focus more on rewards than punishments.

What is considered a bad student?
A student who doesn’t obey anyone. A student who behaves in undisciplined manner. A student who doesn’t show any respect to elders,such a student is considered as an irresponsible or a bad student. Not actually bad,but in simple words irresponsible.
Why it is important to be a responsible student?
Responsible students do what they’re supposed to do and accept the consequences—both positive and negative—of their choices. One way to help guide students toward strong decision making is talking about stakeholders—anyone who might have a stake in the outcome of students’ decisions.
Why are teachers so rude to students?
If you want to deal with a mean teacher, then you should really make an effort to listen to what the teacher is telling you. One of the reasons teachers may seem mean is because they feel like their students aren’t listening to them and like they’re not getting any respect.
Can a teacher disrespect a student?
One of the most prevalent issues highlighted is that of a teacher continuously berating or disrespecting a student or group of students. This type of behavior is unacceptable. All educators expect their students to be respectful to them, but some fail to realize that this is a two-way street.

Responsible, accountable students do everything in their power to make sure commitments are completed on time. They know that planning is an important part of being responsible and accountable.
What happens if you are an irresponsible child?
Consequence if you are irresponsible: You lose track of time and don’t get home until 6:00. Your mom has had 30 minutes to worry about where you are and now she’s upset. She says next time you can only go to the park if your big brother can go with you and supervise. You lost freedom and independence.
Is it normal for teens to be irresponsible?
We as teens sometimes do things that our parents and/or guardians believe are irresponsible. This is not necessarily true. Adults think that anything that’s not grownup behavior is irresponsible, and not mature. For a teen to do things that are not the smartest thing ever is normal. We are still kids after all!
